EVRF® - One device - 3 TreatmentsEVRF® - The equipment:EVRF® has 2 major parts: the generator and the probes (insulated needles or patented catheters) The generator creates the impulse while the needle is used for accuracy. The combination of the generator and insulated needle allows a very precise amount of energy to be delivered to exactly the right place with proven results.
Upgraded Features• Multi-pulse foot pedal option
• Intuitive, multi-language "touch screen" user interface
• Enhanced durability and quality
• Sleek, compact design
• Square wave technology delivered by proprietary microprocessor
• Upgradable for future endovenous treatment as collateral reticular perforators (FDA pending) and GVS (Not available in the USA)
CR12i and CR30i (veins of 1 to 5mm)Large varicose veins from 1 to 5mm are treated with a specially designed hand catheter. The catheter is manipulated with a sterilized handset. Scrolling the handset’s wheel will move the catheter into or out of the vein. These handsets are easy to hold and control, very flexible and the perfect insulation makes it possible to slide the catheter into a varicose vein and coagulate the vein from inside. The catheter will be inserted into the vein and retracted step by step until the vein is completely closed. This thermocoagulation effect is similar to the treatment of the large saphena vein.
CR45i (GSV) not for USAFor the treatment of the Great Saphenous Vein, the CR45i catheter is used. Its 5mm non-isolated tip and its flexibility allow for a smooth insertion. The catheter will be pulled back gradually until the entire vein is closed. This procedure will take about 5 minutes. Saphena Magna ablation with EVRF® is minimally invasive, preventing unpleasant and possibly unsafe side effects such as pigmentation defects, superficial thrombophlebitis or deep venous thrombosis (DVT). Patients experience minimal discomfort and normal daily activities can be resumed within one day.
Benefits for Clients:• Instant results, the vein disappears immediately
Benefits for Practitioners:• Unipolar thermocoagulation with proprietary square wave technology
New study pain score - shows good results with the EVRF
Nearly one 1 year ago Dr L. Rasmussen from Denmark started using the EVRF for GSV treatment. He quotes : “EVRF is one of the thermo ablation methods with the smallest pain score”.
